Max Tiles
Submission for Tri-Jam 248: https://itch.io/jam/trijam-248
Theme: The Cycle Repeats
Memorize the buttons and click them in order! My personal best is 11, the best score possible is 48 but that would be incredible
time in development: 2h 45min
Any feedback would be much appreciated
Enjoy!

Great game! Once I reached around 15 tiles I was beginning to get tired of clicking the same pattern, maybe mixing up where the placement of the tiles is after each successful sequence would work? Also a timer while you're viewing the numbers would definitely add to the tension.
My max tiles so far is 20, I'm hoping to beat it.
I spent more hours trying to beat this game than the entire length of the jam
Holy Crap I didn't expect anyone to actually beat the game! How did you memorize so many tiles??? That's insane! Thanks for playing btw and I'm glad you enjoyed it
this was part of a game jam where the theme was: "A cycle repeats" so having the cycle be the same but +1 tile was necessary in this case. yeah a timer is a good idea!. I should've also allowed the user to hit space instead of forcing them to click the start/restart button to minimize clicking.
Not bad. By the time I reached 18 I was spending a lot of time clicking. Maybe a timer feature could be beneficial. Good submission!
dayum that's crazy! I thought of a timer but I wanted people to have a chance to memorize a long sequence to get crazy scores. If I did it again I would give the user the chance to press "Space" instead of the continue or restart buttons to minimize clicking.
Thanks for playing!
I agree, I would love if it was space.
I could then keep my cursor on tile 1 while beginning the game instead of keeping my eyes on tile 1.
This is a really neat concept and very intuitive as well (I especially like that the newest number is a different color). This is my favorite game in the jam, well done!
Thanks! and thanks for playing!
